Drivin' Through the Desert

Heading East. Kind of later than I had thought, but that is a good thing. Little short of time. I’m going through Las Vegas to drop off some stuff to a friend, Jed Schneider, hopefully. Then to St. George Utah. Vincent has some work there, so he was trying to catch up. Tucker has been having a blast in California, but he can sense when we’re going. He was laying on my bag, picture below, when I was trying to pack up. I’m short of time, so that is about it. Hopefully they have done the majority of burning in Kansas by the time I get back, but I know that is just wishful thinking. It is early April, so the season of grass fires. I hate it.

Bazaar Road Race is on Sunday. It used to be the first Sunday in April, but it moved to the 2nd Sunday in April due to lots of motorcyclists on the road riding some recurring ride that’s always the first Sunday. It’s much better now.

With as much rain as we have been having, there has not been much burning going on. If that is your criteria, then stay away!!!

Scrum, why don’t you just stay away from this blog? You never have any thing constructive to say, if you’re a hateful piece of shit why not just stay away?

So sad. Couldn’t get much sleep at all last night. Weird this repeating of being “short of time”. Like some kind of evil foreboding of some kind. Life is a funny thing and all of a sudden it’s just gone.

I was so saddened to hear of the death of Steve. I have known him for about 40 years, from the early days of the Fayetteville Spring Classic now the Joe Martin. He was a talented racer and had a big heart! He will truly be missed. My heart goes out to Trudie and all his family. Best Nancy Martin
