Busy Sunday
It is nice out today compare to yesterday’s raining day. We’re all going already this morning, so I’m going to make this just pretty much a picturitorial. We’re heading out to ride to Vail from Silverthorne to meet up with Kart, who just drove there from Louisville yesterday. Anyway, the women’s road race is on right now, but I’d rather be out watching than watching TV. How about GvA winning the men’s Olympic Gold yesterday? You think Peter Sagan is kicking himself for not racing on the road, instead doing the MTB event. If GvA can make it to the finish, then I assume PS could have. Bad decision. Hope you have a good Sunday.

Regarding Peter Sagan - combine what you said with his mad descending skills - that race was his to lose. Too late now.

Unless he wins on the mtn. bike. Let’s face it, he could.

I figure from the very beginning Sagan himself knew he stood a better chance of getting a gold medal on the road. That surely wouldn’t surprise anyone? Now if he rolls the dice and ends up beating Nino and Absalon?!!! I think even Sagan will be impressed with that result!

Seemed like everyone prepared like it was a mountain stage and it turned into more of a L-B-L or Lombardia. They overlooked the cobbles and descents. Tire pressure an issue? Mechanicals… Sagan could have done well.

Well everyone seems to know what’s best for Sagan ……. Except you all aren’t him….. He’s doing wtf he wants to …..which is to have some fun 👍👍

GvA much better climber than the clown. Showed it in the last TdF if nothing else.

There’s (apparently) no descending skills left in the pro peloton since the retirement of Paolo Savoldelli.
