Race went great. Pretty good from start to finish. It got sunny, so the top layer was slimy on top of icy mud. I’m glad that is over. More later, obviously.
Pretty testing conditions.

Congrats, yet how do you keep your cool with having to constantly clean your bike? Oh I guess you are use to it by now and all. :-)
Don’t clean that bike! Just load it up into the van and put it forever on display. :)

Congratulations! Not that anyone ever doubted you would win, but there are always things one can’t control.

You could let the mud dry, but add a bunch more straw first, then sell it to the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art in KC for gas money for that lumbering beast of a van you’ve got…

oh, and by the way, congratulations!!! you never know about this kind of thing, but you seem to do best with mud as opposed to rock-hard ruts…

congrats! one more thing to update your resume with. Speaking of which, did I read somewhere that you briefly held the US hour record in the 80’s? man, that would be an interesting read if you need something to write about in the future.

Congratulations. My daughters want to see a video. They find watching you race a bike on video almost as interesting as watching for their uncle during Green BayPacker’s games.
