Thanks for sharing this tribute to Ella and Dennis. Love the classic Kruse homestead couch-full-o-dogs shot! Ell! We will all miss you greatly!

Steve, Sorry to read about the loss of your four legged friend. It’s never easy, in fact I think it’s harder to say good by when they’re older. I received the news before the start of the Chequamegon last fall my Sophie dog of 17 years passed away the night before the race. She’s the only thing that kept me from taking a job in the world trade center back in 1999. Without her I’d be dead today. I don’t remember much of the race, only that the bike Kent built me seemed to deposit me at the finish line some how. Pets as of o little and give back so much, people can learn a lot from them. Hope you keep writing he blog, it’s fun reading.

Losing Ella seems like the end of an era……I can still hear her barking in the background.

As I sit here reading this with my lab “Sadie’ at my feet, I couldn’t help shed a tear.
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Ella, our 4 legged friends are so much part of our family and it is so painful when we lose them.
Give Bromont an extra hug for me today!
